Ollin Marriage & Family Therapy, Inc.

Welcome to Ollin Therapy

At Ollin Therapy, healing is not a destination — it is movement, transformation, and remembering. Rooted in the Mexica day sign Ollin, which means movement or transformation, our practice is guided by the rhythms of the earth, the wisdom of our ancestors, and the power of cultural memory.

We offer a space that centers the lived experiences of BIPOC, queer, and migrant communities through a reindigenized and decolonial lens. This means we honor the sacred in our healing work, integrating ancestral knowledge, storytelling, ceremony, and land-based practices with mental health frameworks.

Our approach moves beyond traditional Western models of therapy. We challenge systems of oppression that disconnect us from ourselves, our communities, and our roots. Instead, we embrace an approach that is relational, liberatory, and culturally rooted — one that sees wellness as collective, not just individual.

At Ollin Therapy, we don’t just treat symptoms — we work with you to reconnect to your truth, your lineage, and your path forward.

Rooted in Indigenous Ways of Being

At Ollin Therapy, our therapists are more than clinicians. We are cultural workers, ceremony holders, and community members committed to ancestral healing. Each therapist brings their own lived experience and connection to Indigenous knowledge systems, whether through lineage, mentorship, or community practices.

We are grounded in Indigenous worldviews that honor balance, reciprocity, the sacredness of all life, and the importance of collective healing. Our work is shaped by the teachings of elders, the land, spirit, and ceremony — not just textbooks. We understand that trauma is not only personal, but also historical, intergenerational, and systemic.

Our therapists integrate practices such as:

  • Storytelling as medicine

  • Connection to the elements, the land, and the cosmos

  • Ritual, prayer, and offerings

  • Dreamwork and spiritual guidance

  • Community accountability and relational healing

We do this while also navigating the Western clinical world — not as a replacement, but as a reclamation and integration. We walk with integrity between worlds, bridging Western mental health with Indigenous traditions in ways that are ethical, grounded, and culturally respectful.

We believe healing is ceremony — and every session is an invitation to return to our original knowing.
