Healing - Transformation - Movimiento -

At Ollin Therapy, healing takes many forms. In addition to therapy, we offer spaces for learning, unlearning, and remembering — all grounded in ancestral knowledge, cultural wisdom, and collective care.

Our Offerings

  • A ceremonial drum surrounded by purple rose petals, with two wooden sticks crossing inside the drum, three small clay animal figurines, and greenery around the edges on a woven mat.

Trainings on Culture & Reindigenizing Mental Health

These workshops and CEU-accredited trainings are designed for therapists, healers, and community members who are ready to move beyond clinical frameworks and into liberatory, culturally-rooted practice. Through storytelling, dialogue, and reflection, we explore decolonial theory, identity development, and ancestral frameworks that honor our peoples and traditions.

  • A cozy living room with two green sofas, beige patterned pillows, and a small wooden coffee table with a tissue box. On the wall, there are framed colorful artworks and decorative shelves with various objects and plants.

    Clinical Supervision

As a licensed clinical supervisor, I provide holistic and relational supervision that honors both professional development and personal growth. I support new clinicians in integrating theory, ethics, and cultural context — while also tending to the heart of the work: who you are, who you serve, and who you are becoming.

  • A black chalice filled with smoking incense, placed on a decorated cloth with colorful embroidered patterns, accompanied by a small clay bowl with white stones, a clay pot with painted designs, and a wooden tool with a candle on the side.

    Clinical Consultation

I offer individual and group consultation for therapists, educators, and practitioners who want to deepen their cultural humility, navigate complex cases with a decolonial lens, or bring more intentionality and spirit into their practice. These sessions are collaborative, grounded, and rooted in shared wisdom.

  • Medicinal Drumming Circles

    Medicinal Drumming Circles

Drumming is an ancient technology of healing — connecting us to the heartbeat of the Earth, our bodies, and each other. These circles offer a sacred space to regulate the nervous system, release what no longer serves, and restore balance through rhythm, intention, and collective sound. All are welcome — no drumming experience needed.

Melina Juárez Pérez, Student in Practicum,

I am a heart-led practitioner guided by principles of love, compassion, liberation, and decolonization. My work focuses on the lives, health, and happiness of Chicanx, Latinx and BIPoC communities, particularly that of fat, disabled, queer, and women folk. I utilize collaging, art, mapping, oracles, and other meditative practices to help clients find alignment with their desires and purpose. I blend indigenous, feminist, and queer theory to craft a decolonial approach to counseling to help clients be free and heart-led. My approach is one that understands the foundational effects of systems of power on people’s lives and centers relationality, spirituality, and accountability in the healing process. I am currently a graduate student intern in practicum under the supervision of Jesus Solorio, LMFT.
